Tips for Applying
Thank you for your interest in University Health System! We understand that the search for a new job can be exciting, while sometimes challenging. Therefore, we wanted to give you some tips to help you through the application process. We strongly suggest you download the print-friendly version of Tips for Applying to use while filling the online application.
For your application to be officially considered:
- All fields must be completed.
- Your entire employment history must be included.
- You must meet the minimum qualifications of the position.
To determine whether you meet the minimum qualifications, click on the position title to review the job requirements. Only those who meet the minimum qualifications will be considered.

You may apply for up to 3 jobs on an individual application. If you wish to be considered for
additional positions for which you qualify, you may contact Human Resources to speak with a
Human Resources professional.
Applications remain active for 90 days, after that time you must complete a new application.
Please review your online application for completeness and accuracy before submitting. The
following message will appear if the application has been submitted successfully.

Frequently Asked Questions
Question: How can I find out the status of my application or inquire about current opportunities?
Answer: You may call the Human Resources Department. If a specialist is unable to answer your question, they will route your call to another HR professional who can help.
Question: Can I attach my resume to the application?
Answer: Not at this time. We are happy to receive your resume via fax or you may contact Human Resources for assistance. Please note that completion of an application is still required.
Question: How does the process work?
Answer: Once your application is received, a member of the recruitment team will review your
application based on the job qualifications and hiring standards. Those that qualify will be forwarded to the hiring departments for consideration. Due to the volume of applications we receive, only those who are selected for an interview will be contacted. However, you may call Human Resources to inquire about the status of your application.
