DELIVERIES
Unless otherwise specified at the time of ordering, deliveries of all supplies and equipment should be through one of three designated Receiving Departments. University Health System’s Receiving Department (University Hospital), 4502 Medical Drive, San Antonio, Texas 78229, (Robert B. Green Campus) 903 W. Martin St., San Antonio, Texas 78207 and (Texas Diabetic Institute) 701 S. Zarzamora St, San Antonio, Texas 78207. Please verify that the physical ship-to address is correct prior to shipment. Unless otherwise specified at the time of ordering, all shipments should be F.O.B., University Health System.
The Purchase Order Number assigned to a shipment should appear in at least three (3) places: (a) the packing slip, (b) the shipping carton, and (c) the address label. This will ensure that the shipment is valid and will provide the Receiving Department with the information required to properly document receipt of the order.
Each shipment must include a packing list. Packing/shipping lists should provide a descriptive listing of the number of boxes/containers, contents and quantity. The packing slip must also reflect the purchase order number, part number, catalog number, item number, unit of measure, quantity and any other applicable identifiable number that corresponds with the purchase order information.
Excluding Health System holidays, deliveries will be accepted on weekdays between 4 a.m. and 3 p.m. All deliveries are to be scheduled in advance of shipment. Emergency and/or after hour deliveries must be arranged through the Inventory Management Department.
For your convenience, parking is available in the Visitors parking lot.
PARKING
For your convenience, parking is available in the Visitors parking lot. This lot is located directly in front of University Hospital. However, representatives making a delivery or setting up a display may temporarily (10 minutes or less) park in the Receiving area to unload any equipment or products and should then move the vehicle to the front parking lot. Any sales representative’s car parked in any area other than the front parking lot (except for deliveries) will be ticketed.
After the 3rd ticket, sales representative’s vehicle may be at risk of getting booted and towed at owner’s expense. Abuse of parking privileges will result in the vendor being banned from the Health System for a minimum period of one (1) year.
